Function description
ALSIC is looking for dynamic, analytical people, interested in recent developments in the ICT world, who are willing to commit themselves long term.
In view of our project approach, we are looking for conceptual thinkers, who can define a solution and implement it, together with a team of developers.
As a senior application developer you will get the opportunity to take the lead on the architectural design of the solution and managing the team.
The ability to lead and motivate a team that implements projects on time and within budget, is a strong advantage.
You will start as a project engineer and evolve to becoming a project manager.
You are interested in working in a team, but can also work autonomously, in this technically varied and challenging environment.
Profile
- You have at least a graduate degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Back-end experience with .NET (C#, VB.NET, EntityFramework, Web API, ASP.NET , MVC, SQL Server, etc.)
- Preferrably also front-end/web experience with (HTML, Javascript, Typescript, JQuery, Sass, CSS, Kendo (UI), Gulp, Bootstrap, Leaflet, JQuery UI, KnockoutJS, OAuth)
- Fluent in Dutch/Flemish and English, knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Flexible and willing to learn
- Good communication skills and team player
- You can work independently

Service desk
ALSIC Service Management
Function description
As a 1st and 2nd line Service Desk engineer you give support to customers for their applications, ICT infrastructure and monitoring, covered by a maintenance contract.
As their first contact at our service desk you provide a quality service.
Detailed tasks:
- Respond to incoming calls, mails, and follow-up of logged tickets of customers on functional and technical questions.
- Logging of incidents and follow-up of tickets per application.
- Analysis of and response to functional questions and filtering of technical questions to the specific technical teams.
- “Knowledge Sharing”: you share knowledge with your colleagues via documentation.
Profile
- Eager to learn, you are a flexible colleague who is the first responder for functional questions, and you perform a number of well described tasks and you pass on technical problems to the appropriate technical teams.
- Experience with a helpdesk is an extra advantage
- Customer focused and patient, good problem solver, who gets satisfaction from a quality service to our customers
- A good listener, customer oriented, communicative, IT minded and stress resistent.
- Fluent in Dutch/Flemish and English, knowledge of French is an advantage.
- You obviously attach importance to procedures and you are a team player who is also capable of working independently.
- Eventually interested to learn programming via self study and specific training focused on .NET or Java, but also other technologies, dependent on the type of applications in maintenance.
